Jeremy Lydick - Kind of Nervous

I’m Jeremy and I want to go New Orleans because the other kids in youth group who went last year said that it was a life-changing experience and I want to help all the people in the city who have not been able to rebuild because of the sheer amount of work there is to be done. I am nervous about meeting people and explaining my faith to them and why I am personally there (kind of like this blog entry). I also want to help some kids be able to play little league again so I am hoping that we will be able to put on a baseball clinic while we are there. I hope that we will be in your prayers.

Hi, J
Great to see your picture and read your comments. It has been very rewarding to see you decide to volunteer to help these people re-build their lives.
Do everything in the name of Jesus because without Him we can do not one thing.
I have been praying for you several times a day. I am praying that you arrive rested and that temperments are even. Looks like a great team you are on.
Will write again soon. Love. GG

Good Evening Jeremy, I have thought of you all so often. When poor people come into SJS to eat I pray for them and for your team as you will see so many poor people when you get there. Remember that they may be pour in spirit also but with your help and encouragement their hopes can be lifted. God Bless you as you bless others. Love Mimi
