So good to be in the same time zone
It's 1140 and all is quiet Everyone has settled down for a night of sleep - which is not easy on a train. If you ever hear that coach is easy to sleep in because of the reclining chairs and foot rests don't believe it unless you are under 5 foot 7 inches. It's tough to fnd a comfy position if you are taller.
Most of us are so tired we could sleep upside down in a tree!
PARENTS AND ALL WHO ARE meeting us in Portland - be sure to check the blog at 1030 Monday night for an update of our arrival time. We've learned that trains may not arrive when scheduled - we've been early and late on this trip.

Good morning everyone! I bet you are looking forward to getting off the train in New York and getting to walk around and do some sight seeing. I hope you have a great day and we can't wait to have you all back home safely!
Blessings!
Val
I hope you all got a few good winks last night and are able to keep smiles and Christian love among each other after a long, extended week! Keep sharing the love of Jesus with those you encounter on this train ride and while you are at your stretching points! The Lord stretches us in many ways, doesn't He?! (oops - pun unintended - bet you wish there was more stretching room on that train)!
What beautiful smiles you have had in the pictures posted this past week - AND for those of you with retainers (you remembered to wear them all week - right?!?!)
I am sure all the parents and spouses are so proud of each of you - but above all, the Lord is blessed and has been praised. He must be saying, "Well done, good and faithful servants!"
Praying for continued safety and rest for each of you in your upcoming endeavors here at home. I am excited to see your faces and safe arrival!
In thought and prayer,
Laura
