Tonight's team time was sweet with many tears and a powerful time of sharing.
I will try to update Friday as I'm too tired to sit at McDonald's tonight.

I will be praying that your last workday will go well and that God's love will abound. Finish strong guys! Phil
Good morning...I can't wait to hear more about your day yesterday and your sharing time together last night. I've been praying that God would be generous in revealing Himself to you as the Living, Powerful God able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than we could ask or think.
I'm thinking about your last day of work and wondering how you're feeling about it. I want to encourage you to give it all you've got, don't hold back, dare to start a conversation (I love Ali's example from her plane ride home!).
Ephesians 2:10 says that you "are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." It's cool to know that God had this week in your lives planned on His calendar. He knew all the situations you'd encounter as well as the people of New Orleans that He wanted to touch through you AND how they'd affect you in return. Finish well. I love and miss you, Sallie.
PS the first time I wrote this, it didn't post, so I hope you don't get something twice...
Good morning. We hope you're all well -- Sam, we especially hope your foot is healing and Andy, that your throat is better. And, we pray that those of you who went to share the gospel yesterday had a blessed day and were a blessing to others. Today we pray that God will provide you all with an extra measure of strength and stamina. And, don't forget to stay hydrated -- both with earthly water and with the living water flowing from above.
On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. By this He meant the Spirit... John 7:37 - 39
Have a great day!!
Love, The Crisciones
Scott, thanks for taking care of yourself! Sometimes the most spiritual thing a person can do is to take a nap. (Not my original thought, but it has proven to be true over and over, especially on missions trips and in the throws of motherhood.)
I am praying for you as you begin this bittersweet time, the end of your days in New Orleans. For those of you who are new to missions trips, all the crazy emotions you are feeling are perfectly normal, although unsettling.
I pray that you will always embrace the Scriptures and lessons you have learned during these days, and the memories of close Christian fellowship and those New Orleanians you have grown to love; especially hold fast to them in the future when you are having doubts or struggles. The following verses are true on so many levels:
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL CARRY IT ON TO COMPLETION until the day of Christ Jesus. Phil 1:3-4
Much love to you all, Holly G
